The City of Owen Sound in collaboration with Jay Pitter Placemaking is leading the Future Owen Sound—Vision 2050. This strategic plan will respond to multiple rapid changes within and beyond the city. The new vision will build on the important work that informed the previous Strategic Plan Refresh. The process will leverage existing local expertise while creating space for capacity building and collective learning. The process will also include an especially wide range of people and perspectives including the city's valued business community. The Business and Economic Prosperity gathering is intended to collect specific insights from individuals in the business, employment and entrepreneurial sectors given their important role in shaping cities where everyone thrives.
